Dear Journal,

I recently returned from England. Literally the best two weeks of my life and it was quite a nightmare having to leave. I also became engaged to Daniel Beatson. Most incredible person on the planet. I've never met anyone so real in my life.

I'm leaving for basic training for the US Army on the 16th of February. I will afterward be moving to Monterey, California for AIT to become a linguist. Right about the time I graduate is when Daniel and I should theoretically be getting married. We'll have a real ceremony a few years from now.

I bought this book called Nightlight: A Parody. It's a parody of Twilight and it's bloody brilliant. Everyone should read it.
